Hooray! I'm going to visit Evan tomorrow!!! My plane leaves around 3:00PM and I'll be arriving in Alabama around 6:30PM! I am so excited. Excited to see him! Excited to have a full night's sleep! Excited to read books!
I won't lie though, I'm super going to miss the girls. This'll be my first time away from Julia and I'm dreading it. Ebeth's a trooper and has been there/done that with us being gone for a while, but not my Julia. She's a Mommy's girl and my tummy hurts every time I think about leaving. Julia's staying with my parents and Ebeth's staying with Jana and Keith. It's only 3 days, but that's a long time in baby world. Ugh! No more talk of that...
So, you're probably wondering how the whole "crib" thing is going. Well, since you asked...it's going swimmingly!!! Julia goes down for the night around 8:00, Ebeth around 8:30. Elisabeth loves loves loves having Julia in her room (and even yells at me for sometimes taking her back to my room in the middle of the night) and they aren't waking each other up. Julia wakes up at least one time to nurse, and then I put her back in the crib where she stays until around 5:30AM. That is waaaaay to early to wake up, so that's when I bring her back to bed to nurse and go back to sleep. Evan, being all smug and whatnot, said he knew Julia would do well in the crib. Well, I wasn't so much worried aobut her as I was it waking up Ebeth. But, then Elisabeth turned out to adore having Julia in her room! Who knew?
Well, it's off to bed for me!
