She didn't have a fever all day, so we ended up going to the park for a little bit just to get out of the house. Plus, it was 80 degrees outside, so we thought we should enjoy it while we could. She still has this whole week off for fall break...I have no idea what we're going to do. First, she needs to be public worthy (aka: no fever, no glassy eyes, no growly voice, etc.) and then we can think of things to do. We really want to see "Where the Wild Things Are", but are thinking that Julia's not going to sit through it, so we're contemplating a babysitter. I volunteered to see it with Ebeth by myself, but Evan did not think that was a great idea. :)
So, here are pictures of us at the park at the beginning of last week before the flu hit our home. The weather was in the high 60s and perfect! Elisabeth is all about doing flips on the playground equipment. She practices at school during recess contstantly.

Julia's more of a slide girl. I love watching her prepare to go down the slide. It's a SLOOOOW process.

These are pictures of Elisabeth's Orgeon Trail Wagon. You will notice the horse pulling her wagon. She is equipped with books, blankets, food, animals and, of course, her baby sister.

And here are pictures from our short trip yesterday to the park. Look, the girls were in shorts!!!

Julia enjoys walking through the playing field attached to the park. She prefers to be chased through it.
