It was a Wizardly Party!

Here is the Wizard Hat cake. The second one.
Yep, I had to make two since the first one I made fell over after I'd iced it and was ready to add the decorations. Not too happy about that. Thankfully, Jana called after I'd texted her a picture of my cake-tastrophy and gave me some tips to try again. It worked!!! (eta: Evan helped with my second go round of cake. He is the one who cut out all the stars and moons from the halloween dots candy that he squished for me since I am so weak and couldn't do it.) Elisabeth was very happy with her cake and thanked me a bajillion times for making it. Definitely worth it. :)


We arrived at Lil Biggs a bit early to greet the party guests. Elisabeth was decked out in her Wizards of Waverly Place outfit and chomping at the bit to get the party started.

She had 5 little friends show up and most of the parents stayed. There were at least 3 other parties going on, so it was kind of packed.
Evan was on Julia patrol. Julia fell in love with this basketball game, once again proving that she is Ethan Jr.


Poor Julia was so good for being so overloaded with birthday party fun. She was quite traumatized, however, when I managed to somehow drop half of the pizza I was serving the kids. Yep, I'm super skilled.


Elisabeth and her friends had fun though, and we ended up being the first ones to leave since Julia was all done and the other parents were still letting their kids play. I think next year we'll just hang out at home and let them trash our place.
